That Turned My Tides
A familiar fear echos through Me
And I contemplate running away
But you hold me still with tranquil eyes
And in them, I can’t help but stay
What I thought was real love from another
Left my hopeful heart, sunken and drowned
But you’ve kept me safe with buoyant love
